Susan U. Raymond, PhD, is Senior Managing Director ofResearch, Evaluation, and Strategic Planning for Changing OurWorld, Inc. and its philanthropy division, Archimede PhilanthropyPartners. She has extensive experience in research, analysis, andplanning, most recently with the prestigious New York Academy ofSciences. At the Academy, she created the first technology andpublic policy program, and then became Director of StrategicPlanning and Special Projects. Prior to this, Dr. Raymond was aproject officer at the World Bank and a senior consultant to theU.S. Agency for International Development and to various privateorganizations including the Carnegie Corporation, specializing inhealthcare and international economic research.
Mary Beth Martin, Esq., is a Senior Managing Director atChanging Our World, Inc. and its philanthropy division, ArchimedePhilanthropy Partners, overseeing the firm's Boston office. Withnearly twenty years' experience in the fundraising field, she hasdone extensive work in higher education, focusing primarily onplanned giving, major gifts, and capital campaigns. Since joiningChanging Our World, she has provided planned giving advice tonumerous clients, in addition to providing fundraising strategy andcapital campaign oversight. She has addressed both national andregional organizations as well as numerous nonprofit boards anddevelopment professionals on the topic of planned giving.
