MIKE S. LEE, PhD, is President of Milestone DevelopmentServices. His recent work has involved the development of automatedorthogonal control systems for electrospray ionization. Formerly,Dr. Lee was director of analytical research and development atBristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) Pharmaceutical Research Institute wherehe led interdisciplinary teams that contributed to the Food andDrug Administration's approval of Buspar® and Serzone®,and the accelerated development and approval of Taxol®. Inaddition, he has authored over forty scientific papers and issuedpatents.
MINGSHE ZHU, PhD, is a drug metabolism researcher atBristol-Myers Squibb, where he leads a team that investigatesbiotransformation in new drug discovery and preclinical drugmetabolism and pharmacokinetics in development. His teams haveprovided key metabolism and disposition information for regulatoryapproval of Abilify® and NDA submission of Dapagliflozin. Dr.Zhu's research interests include LC/MS technology, optimization ofADME properties, metabolic activation, and regulatory drugmetabolism. He has been frequently invited to speak and teach shortcourses at conferences/workshops and has coauthored over sixtyresearch articles and one book.
