"Wonders of Nature" shows fascinating photographs. They lead us into the unique realm of plants and animals. The catalogue shows us their unusual sensory abilities, their ingenious strategies in the struggle for existence, the variety of their sexual rituals and the wealth of their social relationships. The highlight of the exhibition in the 100-metre high air space in the gasometer is a monumental sculpture of the Earth with a diameter of 20 metres onto which high-resolution moving satellite images are projected. From the astronaut's viewpoint we look at our planet and can admire in images of unique sharpness the change of times of the day and of the seasons.
